Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager in the field of automation with a strong background in Siemens PLC systems. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with Siemens PLC and preferably hold a Six Sigma Certification. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing operational processes within our automation division.

Responsibilities:

Siemens PLC Expertise:

Demonstrate hands-on experience with Siemens PLC systems. Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues efficiently. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement PLC programming changes and improvements.
Operational Leadership:

Lead and manage day-to-day operations within the automation division. Ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of production processes. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Six Sigma Implementation:

Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify and implement process improvements. Lead Six Sigma projects to enhance quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes. Provide training and guidance to team members on Six Sigma principles.
Team Management:

Supervise and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and set development goals for team members.
Quality Control:

Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Resource Planning:

Develop and execute resource plans to meet production targets. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in a senior operational role within the automation industry. Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC systems. Six Sigma Certification is highly preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving operational excellence.
