What this job involves:
Leading organisation to success
As Senior Director you\xe2\x80\x99ll take total responsibility for developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives that align with the overall goals of the organization. This includes analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and overseeing the overall success of major projects\xe2\x80\x94guiding teams in each phase to achieve outcomes that exceed clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and meet JLL\xe2\x80\x99s commercial objectives. Driven and ambitious by nature, you have a mastery of the ins and outs of business\xe2\x80\x94from products and systems to processes, tools and best practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive long-term vision and strategy that aligns with the organization\'s goals.
Leadership and Financial Management
You will provide strong leadership to the organization and motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals. This includes setting performance goals, providing guidance and feedback to team members, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Where needed, and working in tandem with the country head or account head, manage the organization\'s budget and financial resources effectively, ensuring that expenses are in line with revenue projections and that financial goals are met.
Business Development and Risk Management
You will be able to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the organization\'s strategic goals. This may include partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, or other types of collaborations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and partners, and ensure that their needs and concerns are addressed is a must. As path of this process, you will also be responsible for identifying and managing potential risks to the organization, including financial, operational, and reputational risks. Don\xe2\x80\x99t forget, you will often be the public face of the organization and hence will have a high level of expertise, experience, and credibility
Performance and Talent Opportunities
You are responsible for monitoring the performance of the organization and its teams, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to drive growth and achieve goals. Your leadership and management style should be used to attract, retain, and develop top talent for the organization, including recruiting and hiring new employees, providing ongoing training and development, and creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Communication is key and you should be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including the executive team, employees, customers, and partners. This includes delivering clear and concise messages, actively listening to feedback, and fostering open and transparent communication channels.

The best person for this job is one who always considers what\xe2\x80\x99s best for our clients. As such, you\xe2\x80\x99ll maintain a strong and positive relationship with our clients by identifying their needs, requirements and constraints. While you act in the clients\xe2\x80\x99 best interests throughout the project duration, you must make sure that the project\xe2\x80\x99s revenue and payment cycles are properly managed.
Keeping an eye on business opportunities is also among the highlights of the job. Do you have a knack for building rapport with prospects? Your expertise in surveying a client\xe2\x80\x99s needs and supporting the preparation of PM proposals is key. Likewise, skilfully developing relationships with other company business lines is a must; we achieve are biggest success when working together, so clear communication is key, as is collaboration and team work.

Project-smart and technology-savvy
We employ talent from a wide range of backgrounds, though typically you should have a degree in any construction-related discipline, and at least 15 to 20 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in design, construction or project management.
Are you technology savvy? As the digital leader in project management, we use a range of technology platforms to deliver our projects.
Do you have a deep understanding of the legal environment for each project in respect to planning, commercial aspects, and delivery? If your answers are \xe2\x80\x98yes\xe2\x80\x99, then you\xe2\x80\x99re already one step ahead.

This role calls for superior communication skills, as we\xe2\x80\x99ll expect you to be able to handle complex conversations with business owners, senior executives, and decision makers.
