• Assist the PR Director/PR Manager in planning and development of Public Relation Strategies.

• Support in the A-Z implementation of the plan including press releases, media launches, working with key influencers, media calls, media visits.

• Assist in the development of proposals and strategies for clients and new businesses.

• Basic Event management for clients for promotional launches or media related events, or manage partner event companies in the execution of the campaign.

• Extract clippings of daily news coverage via newspapers, magazines, online and provide reports to client including media coverage reports.

• Research and write articles / press releases to targeted media.

• Design content for promotional activities and for media.

• Assist in pre and post event executions.

• Maintain keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and provide effective PR strategies.

• To undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Possess at least a certification in Public Relations/Communications/ Media Studies or equivalent.

• At least 3 years of related working experience is required. However, fresh graduates with high passion and interest in the PR industry are encouraged.

• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with team members to reliably carry out projects.

• Ability to work well independently and as a team, as well as able to meet tight deadlines.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.

• Good attitude and ability to work well under stress is a MUST.

• Must be confident, enthusiastic and enjoy meeting people.

• Willing to work on extended hours and on Public Holidays when necessary.

• Must possess own transport for ease of carrying out PR activities and meeting clients.
