Job Summary:



We're looking for a motivated and organized Senior Purchase Assistant to join our Purchasing department. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing our purchasing process, effectively coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our procurement success in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Follow and implement company purchasing policies. Prepare and process purchase orders and quotation requests accurately and efficiently. Compare prices across vendors to ensure the best value for purchases. Liaise with suppliers to monitor order progress and delivery timelines. Assist in supplier negotiations when necessary. Inspect the quality of received goods to ensure they meet required standards. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met. Maintain and update purchasing and inventory records accurately. Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations for related meetings' agenda. Follow up on meeting action items to ensure tasks are completed within the timeline.

Requirements:



A minimum SPM qualification is required, with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is an advantage. At least 2 year of relevant working experience in purchasing or a related field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel especially in using of formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF, etc.) Exceptional accuracy in data handling, organization, and reporting. Strong cross-departmental communication skills; able to clearly express needs and coordinate tasks. Able to work independently with proactive problem-solving mindset. Preferably candidates able to read, write and speak in Mandarin as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin speaking suppliers.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
