Position: QA Engineer (Banking/Finance Domain)

Tenure: Contract 12months and renewable

Location: Mid valley

Salary: RM11K - RM12K

Working Hour: Mon-Friday (10AM-4PM)

The role involves planning and leading software testing activities, including creating test strategies and improving processes with other teams. It requires using automation tools to build and maintain test scripts, run automated tests, and ensure early testing is part of the development process. The tester is also responsible for identifying and reporting bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues quickly.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in automation testing. Experience in banking, financial services,

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in test automation using Python, Java, JavaScript, and BDD (Gherkin). Skilled in using automation frameworks like Pytest, Playwright, and GitLab CI/CD. Good understanding of bug lifecycle, testing methods, and effort estimation. Familiar with application behavior, bug fixing, and testing in Agile or Hybrid Agile environments. Experience working in Agile teams and integrating testing into each sprint. Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery.
