Overview:

We are looking for a

Senior QA (Quality Assurance)

role, whether for candidates with or without experience (and with training provided), focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by conducting thorough testing, identifying and resolving issues. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software to our customers.

Job Responsibilities :

Test Planning:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications. Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project documentation.

Test Execution:

Execute manual and, if applicable, automated test cases to verify the functionality and performance of software applications. Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and issues. Work closely with developers and other team members to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Automated Testing (Optional):

Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency. Implement and execute automated testing as part of the overall testing strategy.

Performance Testing:

Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of software applications. Identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Compatibility Testing:

Conduct compatibility testing on different browsers, devices, and operating systems. Ensure that software products meet specified compatibility requirements.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed and organized test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Provide clear and concise feedback to development teams.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and system functionality.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA function. Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the QA process.
Requirements :

Skills and Qualities for a Junior QA in Software Development:

Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies. Attention to detail and a passion for finding defects. Strong communication skills to report issues and collaborate with teams. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes. Problem-solving mindset and ability to think critically.

Testing Tools:

Proficiency in using manual and automated testing tools. Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is a plus.

Testing Methodologies:

Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including black-box testing, and regression testing.
