The group of companies is an innovative technology company specializing in advanced AI manufacturing, including robotics, drone systems, intelligent automation and machine vision solution. In collaboration with a Malaysian partner and with support from the state government, they have established production facilities in Batu Kawan, Penang. As part of their expansion, they are inviting

Responsibilities:

Supervise supplier incoming material quality and provide guidance on anomalies: lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for material quality issues, track supplier improvements, and verify/close corrective action reports (CARs, 8D). Establish and improve supplier audit standards, develop audit plans, and organize cross-functional teams (Procurement, Mechanical & Electrical, etc.) for on-site supplier audits; follow up and close audit findings. Support supply chain in potential supplier development. Establish and implement supplier reward and penalty systems; issue and enforce supplier quality deductions. Assist department leadership in training inspectors. Develop and improve material inspection standards and related inspection guidelines. Support departmental quality improvement plans.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of SQE management experience. Experience managing small-batch, multi-variety machining suppliers in the non-standard automation industry. Familiar with ISO9001, IATF16949 systems; SQE training preferred. Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, Word, and familiar with common quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, 5WHY; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
