Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Contract Executive

to manage and oversee all contractual, cost, and commercial aspects of property development and construction projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and oversee contract administration to ensure smooth and timely execution of development and construction projects. Review and manage tender documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with legal, technical, and commercial requirements. Supervise the preparation of contract documentation, including: Letters of Acceptance Instructions to Tenderers Forms of Tender Conditions of Contract Specifications and Bills of Quantities (BQ) Conduct work-in-progress site inspections prior to verifying claims from consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure works and materials meet specifications. Evaluate and certify progress claims, variations, and final accounts. Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure effective cost control and optimisation. Prepare regular progress, cost, and contractual reports for management review. Support negotiations on contracts, variations, and commercial terms with consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Assist in procurement activities, tender evaluations, and cost estimation when required.
Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification. Minimum

5 years of relevant experience

in building construction, property development, or related industries. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, Bills of Quantities, tendering processes, and cost control. Experience in construction estimating is an added advantage. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong commercial acumen with a consultative and customer-focused mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
