Open Position: Senior R&D NPI Engineer (MNC Manufacturing Company)
An MNC manufacturing company is looking for Senior RnD NPI Engineer to join the team and be based in the Perak manufacturing plant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support Module RnD NPI programs in process and product development.
- Give technical support and analyse data on issues and product improvements including yield and cost.
- Lead new transfers from NPI to mass volume production.
- Handle documentation and engineering changes with revision change.
- Support pilot run in assembly, testing and evaluation of new products.
- Work with RnD team and take part in design of new test procedures.
- Maintain a debug documentation for the new products.
- Get new technical knowledge on test and applications from RnD.
- Drive efforts in product re-engineering, yield improvement, quality and reliability improvement.
- Drive efforts in cost reductions.
- Engage customers and sales with customer qualification process.
- Degree in Electrical or Electronics, Mechatronics or Applied Science in Physics or Photonics.
- Experience from semiconductor devices, IC fabrication and product testing.
- Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting ability on product and test equipment.
- Experience in NPI qualification and transfer.
- Open to Malaysians only.
