Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) is a business division within the Mobility Solutions business sector of the Bosch Group. The division unites software, electrical and electronics engineers from the areas of driver assistance, automated driving, car multimedia, powertrain, and body electronics in a new unit. XC plays a leading role in shaping the dynamic shift toward ever more digitalization in the vehicle.

The Research and Development team in Penang location is the center of global engineering or this business division. Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) is divided into five sections:

• Engineering Software and System Test
• Project Management
• Project management and engineering support for small control units (xCU)
• Engineering Hardware and Mechanics
• Product data management, resource management and central services

PPT test engineer provide hardware validation support in development. Overall responsible for product quality according to hardware specification during development phase and approval of hardware test concept and release. Proactive contribute for successful launching of new products in the plant, in time, according to customer specification and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Support during specification validation and requirement analysis.
• Electrical sample assessment and specification verification.
• Create test plan documentation and validation.
• Work closely with Production Test Engineering team and Development team during creation of test plan documentation.
• Participation in Design for Test workshop.
• Update and validate test plan on the basis of change request and provide test report to development and production test team.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in automotive electronics product industry.
• Know-how of analogue and digital electronics.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team.
• Positive and proactive approach towards problem solving.
• Prefer knowledge in RF equipment, Vector CAN and diagnostic testing.
• Knowledge of FM/AM radio measuring method and digital radio (DAB and XM) are added advantage.
