Role summary
Working in the World-Check Risk Screening product, this role is required to maintain accurate information currency to support the growth of Refinitiv\'s Content business across the region. You will conduct in-depth research on breaking news in Indonesia regarding specific Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) related issues. We focus on maintaining an extensive list of Indonesia Politically exposed persons (PEP), State owned & invested enterprises (SOE/SIE), Sanctions ownership information, etc. Daily, you will research and extract data from extensive sources from public domain in English and Bahasa Indonesia language, ensure accuracy and quality of findings by aligning with policies and applicable laws. What you\'ll be doing:

• 
  Strong analyzing, capturing the right intelligent information and summarizing in a timely and accurate manner.
• 
  Strong adherence toIndonesiaand General research guidelines following strict requirements to ensure product content and quality.
• 
  ProvideIndonesiacontent support to clients on daily basis and work closely withIndonesiateam members, client and country researcher across offices to supportIndonesiarelated ad-hoc projects.
• 
  Work independently in handling individual and team assignment and tasks.

Role requirements:

• 
  At least 2 years working experience in research field
• 
  Native language or full professional language proficiency proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• 
  Good English comprehension and writing skills.
• 
  Strong analytical skills especially with excellent attention to details and critical thinking to analyse and resolve research related issues.
• 
  Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
• 
  Enjoy reading news, following current events as well as good knowledge on official and credible media sources in Indonesia.
• 
  Good domain knowledge of Indonesian naming conventions including characteristics of personal names, salutations and titles as well as most common surnames.
• 
  Passionate about research work and knowledge pertaining toIndonesia political structure and governance at all levels, law enforcement and regulatory enforcement bodies and relevant national laws concerning the AML/CFT regime inIndonesia, is an advantage.
• 
  Good understanding of the prevalent financial crimes inin Indonesia based on guidance and reports from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG), the Indonesian National Risk Assessment report released by the Indonesian Financial Intelligence Unit PPATK and other relevant sources.

  Leading, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks and activities simultaneously in meeting tight datelines.

  Able to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment

EducationQualification/Certifications

• 
  Bachelor\'s degree in International Relations/Political Science,Finance/Accountancy/Banking,Business Studies, Commerce, Journalism,Linguistics/Languages.
• 
  AML related certifications will be prioritised, if equally qualified.
