Job Description


To implement strategies, policies & initiatives in order to continuously improve the Malaysia LPG business through new customer development, distributor network enhancement, channel transformation, distributor development program and point of sales Job Responsibilities: To implement & monitor distributors/channel development with the objective of increasing the robustness of the overall distributors networking & achieving volume, market share & financial targets as well as enabling the business to increase its competitive edge and sustainability. To analyze and establish the profitable business segments and potential geographical areas to determine the preferred market segments and channels of trade and to co-ordinate action plans with respective distributors to focus on these target segments and areas. To ensure CVP and safety are implemented effectively by the distributors and Miraman members. To keep abreast with LPG developments, identify and appraise new LPG business opportunities and where appropriate, gather relevant data and identify/ evaluate realistic options for these business case. To coach and assess distributor competence and performance through planned accompaniments doing observation, demonstration and joint calls and provide appropriate support. To gather, analyst and interpret qualitative and quantitative competitor information related to the LPG business for purpose of carrying out competitive positioning leading to the formulation of overall strategies and plans. To maintain a close liaison with statutory authorities (MDTCA, DOSH, Fire Dept) To regularly monitor, update and submit necessary management tools/reports, e.g. customer cards, SPANCOP, contact plan management and monthly report. To monitor and manage overall performance - Volume, Pricing, Margin, HSSE, and Credit and project management, ensuring contribution to targets. To monitor budget as per allocation and always strive to operate in a cost effective manner. Practice and promote Company HSSE policies, standards at all times and instill the level of safety awareness amongst distributors, customers and staff. Work closely with Operations Team to identify and improve logistics efficiency. Job Requirements: Recognized tertiary qualification and at least 3 years relevant sales/ commercial/marketing experience. Good understanding of LPG business is preferred. Microsoft Suite Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) at intermediate level. Excellent customer relationship building and management skill. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally & externally essential. Good command of spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to write/speak in other languages is a plus. Good ability to understand and deliver financial results. Good organization skills, multi project management knowledge. 5 days week job.
