Job Description


A Senior Sales Manager with extensive connections to plantations, fertilizer factories, and distributors will be responsible to develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability in Malaysia.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability in the fertilizer trading industry, with a focus in Malaysia.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts in the agriculture and fertilizer sectors.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with plantations, fertilizer manufacturers, distributors and importers to increase sales and market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure profitable and sustainable business relationships.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics and finance, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and expand the network of contacts.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to the sales team to foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fertilizer trading.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong network of connections with plantations, fertilizer factories, and distributors in the region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Fluency in English and other relevant languages.
