Job Description


  • Proven experience as a Senior Sales Representative in the lubricants industry, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or a similar field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales.
  • Ability to demonstrate fundamental selling skills. Basic lube product knowledge is an added advantage with training provided.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Adept at building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Possess own transport and able to travel to meet with clients within Penang Island and mainland.
  • Able to speak & write in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding company market presence in the Northern region, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. You will work closely with the sales team and key stakeholders to promote and sell lubricants portfolio to businesses in the target market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in lubricants sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the target market.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets in the B2Ci channel: - Making regular face-to-face sales calls, Monthly sales forecast & sell-out analysis, Trade-up, cross sell and sell a full range of SKUs and Ensure payment collection from customers within standard credit term.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers to help them select the right lubricants for their specific needs.
  • Handle day-to-day operational matters such as delivery, and key accounts and prepare simple business plans, and regular meetings to increase sell-outs to meet target volume/gross margin.
  • Having experience in independent workshop channels (concept outlet - branded workshop) will be an advantage.
  • Feedback market intelligence by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, product, competitor activities, market trends, etc. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in sales-related activities in the department:- Monthly submission of Sales Reports, Weekly update on customer sales calls, Participate in monthly sales meetings & quarterly sales review and Participate in assigned sales projects.

  • Allowance RM 500, commission based on sales result
