Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and endpoints
Monitor, analyse, and respond to security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities
Conduct security assessments, penetration testing support, and risk evaluations
Lead remediation activities for identified security gaps and vulnerabilities
Support security architecture reviews for new systems, applications, and projects
Develop and maintain security standards, procedures, and technical documentation
Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Business teams on security requirements and best practices
Mentor junior security engineers and provide technical guidance
Support compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, regulatory standards)
Stay current on emerging threats, attack vectors, and security technologies
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering
Strong knowledge of:
Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
Endpoint and server security
SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR tools
Vulnerability management and remediation
Experience with cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP preferred)
Hands-on experience with incident response and threat analysis
Preferred Certifications
CISSP, CISM, or CISA
CEH, GCIA, GCIH, or equivalent
Cloud security certifications (e.g. AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer)
