Tribal is currently recruiting for a Senior Security Operations Centre (SOC) Engineer to join our Information Services team.

The role of the Senior SOC Engineer is to be an advocate for, lead on and be accountable for all aspects of internal and cloud IT security in order to ensure that Tribal staff and Tribal customers are appropriately protected against information theft, leaks, or malicious damage and complies with relevant security standards e.g., ISO27001 across all its operating regions.

You will be an active member of Tribal\'s Security Operations Centre who leads on IT security for Tribal, ensuring that Tribal\'s infrastructure, applications, policies, and access levels/controls are secure and fit for purpose.

Your core responsibilities will be, but not limited to, the following:

• To configure, monitor and advise on Tribal\'s cloud-based security with providers platforms like AWS and Azure.
• To Utilise the SOC security tools to ensure that Tribal\'s security is maintained and enhanced.
• To demonstrate and maintain an awareness of applicable security standards and common attack vectors.
• To list, prioritise, and monitor internal and external threat actors, performing regular IT security audits, and spot checks, and record, act on, and escalate findings promptly.
• To develop, manage, monitor, and maintain threat detection mechanisms.
• To maintain IT security tools including but not restricted to, Cloud Posture Management, DLP, endpoint security, firewalls, and email filtering.
• To organise and co-ordinate external security reviews and penetration tests where appropriate

Applicants should have previous experience working in an information security role, ideal operating as part of a global business and team. You will join an established, well-respected, and globally distributed team. It is expected that the successful candidate will work flexible (agreed) hours to support core business activity alongside our Australia team. It would be advantageous if you had extensive experience operating SOC for the APAC region.

You will need strong working knowledge of:

• Endpoint device security e.g. antivirus, encryption
• Networking and firewalls
• Cloud IAAS (AWS, Azure), SAAS technologies (SalesForce.com, Office 365)
• Working knowledge of common enterprise IT technologies (virtualisation, SAN, ADFS, SQL).
