Overview:

Join the team at Ark Digital as an Senior Software Developer (SSD).You will support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives for government and enterprise services.

Working closely with senior Product Owners, government agencies, and internal teams, you will assist in building, enhancing, and streamlining digital solutions that meet public and private sector needs. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in Software Development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior developers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions across web and mobile platforms. Assist in implementing and maintaining application features, ensuring code quality, security, and alignment with project requirements. Help develop, document, and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code, following established coding standards and best practices. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to support timely and effective software delivery. Conduct research on technologies, frameworks, and tools to assist in building scalable and reliable systems that meet organised needs. Help monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement through bug fixes and enhancements. Stay updated with technology trends, development practices, and emerging technologies to support innovation and digital transformation for public and private partners.

Required Skills & Experience:

2-5 years of experience in software development, programming, or a related technical role. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and collaborative development practices. Strong interest in digital transformation, GovTech solutions, and building technology that supports public and private sector innovation. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within development teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. An analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail in writing, testing, and debugging code. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow as a developer in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
