We are looking for an eager and talented Software Developer that wants to help lead the development and revolutionize Amway\xe2\x80\x99s global ABO Digital Payment platform.

How you would contribute to the role:

As a Sr. Software Developer, you will be responsible for leading a team to implement the future state technologies and delivering the Digital Payment platform using agile methodologies. This self-managed environment promotes frequent collaboration with your teammates. You will be doing both front-end services and back-end Java development. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work to build out the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and develop Proof of Concept builds to evaluate new technologies.

This team is strategically moving from a monolithic, on-premise architecture to an event-driven, micro service oriented, cloud-based serverless solution and will depend on your knowledge of AWS cloud computing, networking, and services to accomplish this. You will be measured on your contribution to the future state Digital Payment rollout, and how well you lead and the advance the team on platform implementations and AWS technical skills.

Daily tasks:

-Update the team on your accomplishments and daily goals
-Assist with team questions and/or roadblocks
-Partner with business and technical teams to refine requirements
-Collaborate with Solution Architect to advance the technical solution
-Develop and test applications
-Serve as a subject matter expert in Cloud Computing for the team
-Attend meetings as needed

What skills and background will be important to be successful:

-8 years\' experience in a Computer Information Systems discipline.
-5 years\' experience supporting large enterprise applications.
-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Java development including strong knowledge of Java 8 (or later) features
-5 years of total experience with application development tools such as Kafka, Websphere, Maven and Jenkins. Any combination of these tools is acceptable.
-3 years\' experience with development and administration integration tools such as Web Methods and Mashery.
-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with quality assurance testing tools to develop test scripts, test plans and perform automated testing against development solutions.
-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 on Spring framework and Spring boot application.
-Experience with database modeling and developing against relational databases.
-Experience working with AWS services such as lambdas, Fargate, S3, API Gateway, EKS, ElasticSearch, RDS and Dynamo
-Experience in AWS Networking
-Excellent communication skills with experience leading and mentoring development teams
-Knowledge of ReactJS UI framework and python would be beneficial

Education Requirements:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering
