We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Software Engineer, based in our Tricor Shared Services Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the HK Chief Technology Officer, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain key modules of an in-house developed HR Employee Self-Service applications.
• Collaborate with the development/technical lead and system analyst to develop specifications for modules of the application.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software & applications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Translate story and use cases into functional features/products.
• Prepare and perform various testing including Unit Test and System Integration Test of the application.
• Work as one software development team across borders.
• Ensure high standards and software quality and comply with Tricor Software Engineering and Architecture standards.

Key requirements:

• Programming: C# .Net stack
• Service Development: RESTful services, Microservices, ASP.Net Core
• Azure: Compute, Storage and PaaS services (Azure Kubernetes Service, Service Bus, Azure API Management etc.)
• Data: SQL Server, Azure SQL, Entity Framework
• Ability to solve complex enterprise solution problems and requirements
• Experience in object-oriented programming and software development life cycle
• Experience in working with offshore users & development teams
• Experience in HR system will be added advantage
• Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend development with HTML 5, CSS3, React, JavaScript, React Native
• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development with .NET stack technology
• Experience in modern application architecture including microservices, Single Page Architecture (SPA), etc.
• Experience in Container orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience in Azure cloud platform will be added advantage
• Experience in DevOps and application containerization will be added advantage
• Experience in rule engine will be added advantage
• Understanding of code versioning tools GitHub
• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related degree
