Proclinical are recruiting a Senior Software Engineer (ETL) for a consultancy. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ETL work by extracting multiple sources then changing the data attained to a specified format/calculation and finally loading this to its target destination.
• You will carry out ETL operations work for product delivery to clients.
• To improve data effectiveness and viability, you will streamline ETL procedures by development of new system components.
• Perform and assist with regression testing, user acceptance testing and compatibility testing.
• Work with internal teams to deliver new data production solutions and to execute any advancements that might affect the operational procedures.
• The ideal candidate will conduct root cause analysis while troubleshooting technical problems.
• Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a computer science/information technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server, SQL scripting and office applications, for example: MS Excel and MS access.
• At least 5 years of experience using C# programming, MVC, LINQ, etc.
• Capable of thinking analytically with the ability to resolve issues.
• A self-motivated individual with the ability to be proactive and thorough.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in the English language.
• Works well independently as well as in a team.
• Familiarity training junior software engineers.
• Acquaintance with oracle database as well as any other database tools and azure data solutions.
• Knowledge on Microsoft SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, XML, JSON, etc.
• Past involvement managing multifaceted workflow and datasets would be beneficial to the role.
