Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Software Engineer, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our IT Department and its\' growth.Key responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain enterprise applications
• Contribute clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Create technical documentation and test plan for applications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Continue building and scaling existing applications
• Plan, design, execute and prepare report for application testing (functional and non-functional test)
• Gather and clarify on user requirements

Key requirements:

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent with 6 years relevant working experience; or an Associate Degree/Tertiary Education in IT disciplines or equivalent plus 8 years relevant working experience
• Solid hands-on experience in software design and development with Java (Spring and/or Spring Boot Framework), Microsoft Azure, Rest APIs and Any RDBMS (Web Development is a must)
• Proficiency with React, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Axios and Immutable.js
• Sound knowledge of SDLC, DevSecOps Practices, CI/CD Pipeline, Containerization, Kubernetes, Monolithic Architecture and Microservice Architecture
• Experience in working with offshore users & developer teams
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and independent
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies/skills
• Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies/skills will be an advantage: .NET Framework, Event Sourcing Pattern, Publisher-Subscriber Pattern, ORM Framework, Automated Testing or Red Hat OpenShift
• Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies will be an advantage
