Job Description

Summary: Develops Webservices (product supporting other companies using our backend webservices). As a Software Engineer for Webservices, you will be a significant contributor to the Backend Systems team as you design, build, enhance and maintain highly scalable and stable backend systems to power clinical solutions for MIMS. Description:

• Design, develop and test new applications or modules based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform maintenance support work such as bug fixing, change request, and user support.
• Enhance or revamp systems and processes to improve work efficiency, usability, performance and security.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical defects.
• Supporting application deployment and database operation.
• Work with other teams on integration of software and processes.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Preferably have at least 4 years of experience in design and development of web applications using C#, ASP.Net (MVP, MVC), .NET 4.0 or above, MS SQL Server 2012 or above and IIS.
• Possess hands-on experience on application deployment and database management.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices & best practices for the SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and proactive approach.
• Possess good communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Experience with ORM (e.g. NHibernate), Azure technologies, Angular, HTML, Javascript is a plus, React, RESTful API.
• Physically able to report regularly, work long hours if needed, and emotionally able to handle work pressures.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
