Position : Senior Software Engineer (PHP Laravel)

Salary : RM 7,000 - RM 9,000

Location : Damansara Uptown

Working Days / Time : 8.30am - 5.30pm

Job summary

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with databases like MS SQL or MySQL. This role involves enhancing existing systems, building new features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance.

Responsibility

Develop and maintain solutions using PHP Laravel framework, ensuring scalable and easy-to-maintain code.

Design and implement new features based on project requirements, focusing on performance and scalability.

Optimize database interactions with MYSQL/MSSQL for efficient querying and data retrieval.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability and reliability.

Document software features, technical specifications, and workflows for team transparency and maintainability.

Work in an Agile environment and actively engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Stay updated with new technologies and apply best practices in software development.

Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

3-5 years of proven experience in PHP Laravel software development.

Hands-on experience with Web APIs and RESTful services (building and consuming).

Proficient in MYSQL/MSSQL with the ability to write efficient SQL queries, optimize performance, and manage transactions.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to handle complex software issues.

Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket) and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins and SonarQube.

Familiarity with Redis Cache to optimize data retrieval and improve application performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM9,000.00 per month
