Department Overview We develop and provide Android and Linux Platform and solutions for MSI two way radios. We are also leading and looking into the future viability of new technology, assessing the trends and initiating new solutions and concepts to improve our products to maintain competitiveness.



Full involvement in the software development cycle including specification definition, architecture design, implementation, testing and review.

Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options, offer solution suggestions

Collaborate and add values through participation in peer design and code review

Collaborate with Global software development teams

Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.

Performs root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems

Mentor junior software engineers

Basic Requirements

At least 4+ years of experience with Android Development or a combination of Android and embedded Systems

Experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project)

Experience with coding in both C/C++ , Java and Kotlin

Good understanding of Android Frameworks including the general Application framework and native framework

Strong technical experiences in Android Operating System related domains, especially in Android framework architecture in areas such as SELinux Policies, Native C/C++, Boot Sequence, Native C/C++ services inter process communication (Android Binder), Boot Sequence, Android HAL/HIDL

Experience with Qualcomm chipset Development is preferred

Experience in one of the following Android Domains : Camera, Power Management, Thermal Management, Audio, Display, Touch, Sensors, System Performance Optimization Security

Familiarity with Hardware Documentation such as schematic and layout drawing and communication protocols

Experience with CTS/GTS : Google Mobile Services (GMS) Test Suite and Google Compatibility Test Suite (CTS) certification and issue debugging
