Position: Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce / CPQ & Revenue (Hybrid Working) The Role Being an intermediate member of our Engineering team you are responsible for building technical solutions, maintaining, and improving the health of technology, contributing to the overall productivity of their team and customer outcomes. You will develop software within Salesforce CRM Platform, contributing to engineering quality, and demonstrate passion for your craft through user centric, reliable, and scalable solutions. Responsibilities: Build Work with other engineers to build, test, deploy and maintain software from development through to production Contribute to platform health, ensuring that our systems are, reliable, resilient, and efficient Contribute to the development of software, employing current software engineering best practices that are fit for purpose Work effectively within the team and contribute to existing DevOps environments Build software in alignment with existing frameworks and technology strategy Troubleshoots and respond to production incidents through to resolution Execute Consistently write clean, well-tested, readable software, using secure coding practices, current patterns and tooling Collaborate within your team to deliver excellent software Contribute to Agile delivery rituals and practices Build software, applying secure coding practices Communicate with others in a timely manner, effectively and with empathy Contribute to a DevOps culture through effective collaboration and regular reflection Understand your customers and consider their needs in all development Support Take ownership for your personal well-being, safety, work-life balance and support the well-being of other team members Contribute to the onboarding of new hires as required Comfortable with articulating different opinions with a peer/team Strength Contribute to communities of practice in the company Improves self and others through inviting and providing regular feedback Requirements: Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience Experience with design, development, support, and maintenance of Salesforce applications Experience working with APIs Experience applying continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) Strong experience with Design Patterns and Data Modelling Previous experience with either Sales & Service Cloud or CPQ & Billing Ability to effectively communicate and contribute at team level Proactively manages professional growth and identifies learning opportunities Experience giving and receiving effective feedback and contributing to others learning Building and operating highly scalable, available, performant and secure solutions Experience integrating Salesforce CRM with other systems and platforms using APIs Experience with and understanding of declarative enhancement tools in Salesforce such as Flows, Process Builder, Formulas and Validation Rules, Schema Builder Web application development and JavaScript / TypeScript Enterprise application development languages such as Java/C# Experience with AWS integration services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, AppFlow, EventBridge, CloudWatch
