We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in software development. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they meet the company's objectives and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain APIs and integration points Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, especially for unit test purposes. Work with the team to identify and implement process improvements to increase development efficiency and quality. Troubleshoot and debug production issues Provide support to maintain and enhance the existing system Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks and incorporate them into our practices as appropriate Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using the latest technologies and frameworks Manage project timelines and deliverables. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. Mastering at least 2 of the following programming languages (framework) in backend engineering: PHP (Laravel), C#, or VB.NET Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one of the following frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js Understanding of Agile development methodologies Experience with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, CouchDB, MongoDB, Redis Experience with version control systems, such as Git Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS. Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.

Preferred

Experience in developing network applications using sockets Knowledge of troubleshooting and debugging for socket-related issues Experience in integration of payment gateway APIs and payment channels Familiarity with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure Experience with Docker container
