JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical leadership throughout the end-to-end software development life-cycle, with a concentration on systems and solution testing. Author, document, and execute detailed test plans and test flows, and conduct reviews with customers to ensure alignment and coverage. Actively participate in design reviews to provide critical feedback on testability and product quality. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive and modular automated test cases and scripts for networking and server products. Lead firmware test efforts, including validation of BIOS, BMC, BSP (Board Support Package), and diagnostics. Drive the team on Network OS validation, with a focus on open networking platforms like SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud). Collaborate closely with development teams, Product Managers (PMs), and customers to identify, debug, and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle. Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders. Implement a data-centric approach to software quality tracking, monitoring, and continuous enhancement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:?

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or Computer Engineering (CE). 8 years of working experience, mainly in validating networking products, with secondary experience in data center products and some server and storage testing. Significant experience working as a software test lead.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

Strong software testing and debugging skills with hands-on experience in Network OS validation. Deep expertise primarily in validating Networking products (Switch/Router/NIC), with a secondary focus on data center products, and additional experience in server and storage testing is an added advantage. Hands-on experience testing networking silicon and SDKs from major vendors (e.g., Broadcom, Marvell). Proven, hands-on experience with traffic generators and network test tools like Ixia and Spirent. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with automation frameworks like PyTest or Robot framework. Experience in firmware testing, including BMC, BIOS, Redfish, and RestAPI. Proficiency with bug management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Strong analytical skills with excellent proficiency in test plan creation and defining test flows.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Industry-standard networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are considered a strong advantage. Working knowledge of cloud computing, Jenkins, and Azure pipeline environments is preferred. Familiarity with CPU, GPU, and NPU architectures. Ability to contribute and engage in open-source forums is recommended but not mandatory.
