about the role

This position is located in Malaysia / Kuala Lumpur, but the scope is worldwide. Meaning the architect will support architecture of our customers based in Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia

Your mission as technical architect will be composed of

• Technical leadership, especially on technical architecture in agile mode, which targets to deliver to VO customers a technical service platform (IaaS, PaaS).

• Lead design and implementation of our \xc2\xab industrial \xc2\xbb platform for development and production (VM & Kubernetes based)

• To contribute to enterprise architecture definition and the VO mid-term technology vision

• Define our worldwide customers and partner\xe2\x80\x99 architecture.

• Contribute to the set-up and animation of the architect community

• Keep coordinate with IT and architects of Orange group (mother company)

• Work in agile (SAFe) and Devops environment

• Design solution for customers from around the world in a software company

This mission will need to travel abroad, especially during the learning curve / beginning

about you

• University Degree and/or Masters\xe2\x80\x99 degree in Information Technology, Engineering or Telecommunications Discipline.
• At least 10 years experience IT architecture, including important part in technical architecture (internet service platform infrastructures and networks) and private + public cloud computing (AWS + GCP preferably) in a devops environment

Technical skills

• At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience IT architecture, including important part in technical architecture (internet service platform infrastructures and networks) and private + public cloud computing (AWS + GCP preferably).
• Experience with VMWare and / or Openstack is mandatory.
• Experience in deploying K8S multicould (AWS, GCP, private Cloud, \xe2\x80\xa6.) or hybrid is mandatory
• System and database (Oracle / Mongo Db / Sql and No Sql DB) engineering
• Linux, Web Technologies (application and HTTP Servers), ELK (Elastic Search / Logstash / Kibana), Grafana, Fluent Bit, Scripting (bash, perl, pyton\xe2\x80\xa6), Squid
• Network design & configuration
• Knowledge in IPTv / OTT domain (Video transcoding, packaging, delivery networks & DRM) is a plus

Soft skills

• Autonomous, keen to learn and lead. Self driven
• Strong collaboration & communication skills with technical and non-technical audience (including customers) in different timezones
• Capability to work in a international organisation with remote teams and customer facing
• Curious, creative and technology passion
• Innovative \xe2\x80\x93 ability to learn and work with new technologies.

Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory
