In a global management consultancy like Roland Berger, the Finance & Controlling (F&C) function offers exciting challenges. We are currently ramping up our F&C service hub in Kuala Lumpur to support our global operations with unique capabilities.
As a Senior Specialist in Accounting, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring finance accounting activities for a variety of international business transactions across our global organization and will act as an international interface for our global and local F&C colleagues. The role requires a deep understanding of finance accounting principles especially from an international group entity understanding.
This role requires profound professional experience in group accounting paired with strong analytical skills, and a results-oriented way of working whereby you can contribute your ideas and expertise in the following areas:

• Support the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS for several international entities in the RB group.
• Support the processing and accounting of ongoing business transactions for several entities in the RB Group.
• Work closely with our tax and controlling teams.
• Support our global RB entities with IFRS-accounting-related questions.
• Actively participate in special projects within the accounting department.

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration with a focus on international accounting or proven practical experience in the area of accounting, ideally with further qualification as a certified accountant.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Analytical and conceptual working style, strong implementation skills, and a pronounced affinity for numbers.
• Business-fluent English skills.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as experience with ERP software (ideally SAP).
