Role Summary: This position will be placed under our General Applications Team and focus in Qlikview.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the requirements and data structures to implement reports and visualizations using Qliview BI Tool
• Expertise in design, build & implement analytical and BI solutions utilizing Qlikview tool.
• Experience in creating data model on the backend, which includes doing data transformations, generating qvds, writing scripts, choosing the best schema type that suits the data etc.
• Experience in enhancement and changes in the existing developed Qlikview dashboards.
• Understands current data context, processes and availability, and how current data processes and existing data can be leveraged to achieve the desired benefits.
• Development of operational reports and dashboards with focus on business data insights.
• Maintain and support qlikview environment (Management console, Access Point) and administrative tasks, user access management etc.
• Design and develop data mappings, Process flows and ETL scripts using any of the SSIS ETL tool
• Perform ETL jobs and extract data from different SQL databases into qlikview.
• Understanding of SDLC methodology and good knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Good knowledge on data cleansing + data transformation.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all ETL jobs run successfully.
• Troubleshoot issues, good understanding of SSIS ETL and use of fixing complex SQL issues. Liaise with different parties on fixing the issues.
• Expected to provide operational support when user logs a case through Incident, SR or change request.
• Strong knowledge of SSIS ETL, Qlikview and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of SSIS ETL, Qlikview and SQL.
• Capable to write, optimize and execute complex SQL queries, SSIS ETL packages.
• BI Systems, monitor process chains and address data load failure, develop and implement error handling processed, support maintenance windows, month end processing, data patching as per request.
• IT Operational support, including incident management, defect tracking, source code version control, deployment to production platform etc.
• Documenting operational procedures/guidelines, coordinating with the users for business knowledge requirement. Able to extend work timing based on situation.

Requirements:

• Candidate should have a Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science, Business or in any discipline
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least one enterprise business intelligence tool (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau etc.)
• Excellent in both spoken and written English. Good in spoken and written Bahasa and Mandarin as added advantage
• Strong business acumen, and able to provide solutions for business requirements
• Possess strong consulting and analytical skills
• Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environment
