In your new role you will:

• Responsible to execute workplace safety including technical &operational improvement with engineering solution to ensure zero noncompliance of respective module.
• Perform machine T32 safety release for new machine safety feature/specifications and supports change projects (GCM) for changes related tomaterial/ process/ equipment to ensure all hazards are being assessedand addressed.
• Conduct safety and ergonomics improvements for occupational safety,laser and radiation protection (x-ray), chemical safety, OHSAS 45001 andtechnical safety in respective module and department.
• Perform investigation for each accident & ergonomic cases and ensurecascading corrective actions/ improvement are implemented in respectivemodule and department.
• Conduct periodical line verification/internal audit to ensure productionlines are compliance to environmental, health & safety requirement/regulations,,,,

Responsible to ensure correct and adequate PPE usage, Chemical handling,Radiation protection, Safety & Ergonomic compliance at production areasof respective modules * Responsible to ensure clear and simple safety feature labelling andindication to be understood for used in production

• Responsible to ensure safety training contents/ material for shopfloornew hire to build robust safety cultures in respective modules
• Supports Audit (eg: IMPRES, customer, Insurance, etc.) and collaboratewith respective modules to implement improvement for all observations.
• Responsible as key interface to support respective modules &departments on safety topic including virus infection (eg. Covid-19, TB,etc).

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering(Mechanical/Robotics/Electronics/Electrical)/ Health Safety andEnvironment or any relevant qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience required in equipment engineering/ HealthSafety and Environment. Working in a semiconductor manufacturing companywill be an added advantage
• Knowledge in OSHA Act and IMPRES requirement/topics
• Excellent people and communication skills to engage staff at alllevels
• Good planning skills and able to prioritize issues to addressurgency level and execution
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and People ManagementSkills (to be able to build relationships with internal and externalparties).
• Be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationshipswith internal and external customers
