Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Specialist - .NET Web Development to join our Group Technical Delivery team. You will lead the development and modernization of enterprise-grade web applications using the Microsoft stack, with a focus on scalable architecture, CI/CD automation, and adoption of AI-assisted development tools.
This role requires hands-on technical excellence, a passion for clean code, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering secure, high-performing, and cloud-ready solutions.
General Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise web applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core/MVC).
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, contributing to secure and scalable backend services.
• Guide solution architecture, code quality, and performance tuning to meet business needs.
• Drive modernization by adopting microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and DevOps best practices.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and quality.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and mentor junior developers where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with UX, QA, business analysts, and backend teams to deliver full-stack solutions.
• Apply automated testing practices (unit/integration) and support continuous delivery goals.
• Ensure secure development practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, OWASP compliance).

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET web application development.
• Proven expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and REST API development.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application deployments; experience with Azure cloud services preferred.
• Solid frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Blazor is an advantage.
• Experience with MSSQL and database performance optimization.
• Comfortable with writing unit and integration tests using xUnit/NUnit/Moq or similar.
• Awareness of secure coding practices, OAuth2/JWT, and API security considerations.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience with code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube) is a plus.
• Interest in automation, AI tooling, and continuous improvement.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
