Roles and Responsibilities:
As Senior Staff Design Engineer, your role and responsibility include but not limited:

• Able to work with Business Unit, Marketing and Product Planning team to identify/define IP and System Solution that would address Wireless 5G Market Demand.
• Able to build complex 5G IP and system design for Wireless 5G Market.
• Participate in architecture and micro-architecture definition/development for next generation 5G IP and IP Solution.
• Performs logic design, RTL coding, develop simulation testbenches and subsystems designs.
• Integration of Core IP, subsystem design and simulation testbenches into Intel FPGA Software Development Tools, Quartus II.
• The work also includes development of Reference Design that demonstrate IP capability out-of-the box from Quartus II Software.

This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills and a proven ability to work with challenging schedules.

Qualifications

• 
  Bachelors, Master\xe2\x80\x99s, PhD degree in EE, CE or CS, or equivalent, with more than 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in digital design.
• Experience in 5G IPs (ORAN, eCPRI, CPRI etc) and System Solution Building and Development are essential.
• Excellent Hands-on experience in FPGA RTL design, logic verification, debug and timing closure.
• Experience in high speed SERDES protocols (eg. PCIE, Ethernet, JESD204B/C/D, Interlaken) is a plus.
• Experience with Hardware Validation and debug is a plus.
• Strong skills in communication, initiative, promote innovation and teamwork.
• Highly motivated to learn and adapt to fast-changing technologies and environments.
• Demonstrates fundamental values such as accountability, integrity and a winning mindset

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
