Job description
In your new role you will:
- Develop and document Repair/refurb know-how for new failure parts from production equipment and train the sustaining team.
- Reengineering, redesigning and developing production equipment parts ready for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct research on new technologies and materials related to production equipment parts development.
- Test and validate new equipment parts designs to ensure their effectiveness and reliability.
- Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure the smooth implementation of new equipment parts.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to equipment parts design and testing.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Degree in electronic, electrical, electro mechanical and mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience in repair, refurb , design and development of production equipment/parts for manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards related to production equipment part design and testing
