Job description

In your new role you will:

• Identify and setup new / optimize existing processes for Preassembly (Back grind / Sawing) in development project
• Ensure the processes are designed to meet Robust Development guideline & specification
• Characterize and document the process for the new process/ material/ tool
• All relevant process controls have to be established to detect any process deviation
• Plan and execute evaluations for unit process development according project targets (e.g. timeline, quality, cost and stability in production) defined by project manager
• Drive harmonization of established Preassembly processes with proven stable process flows including process, material & equipment
• Actively drive exchange with suppliers perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in alignment with procurement
• Practice active knowledge sharing including best practice implementation

Your profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Masters/ Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering/ Process Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering
• 7-9 years working experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing (FE/BE) industry
• Adequate hands-on knowledge and skills in wafer thinning / grinding and mechanical sawing
• Expertise in know how of wafer thinning and mechanical sawing, knowing DBG will be an added advantage
• Good aptitude for collaboration, negotiation and solution finding
• Analytical equipment knowledge
• Statistical data analysis including data mining, hypothesis construction and DOE
