As a Senior Strategic Category Analyst at Micron Technology, you are responsible for driving the analytics, data and information gathering necessary to achieve the strategic objectives. You will work with team members across Micron\'s global sites, working collaboratively to lead profitability objectives and achieves future cost-down aspirations. You will guide the team in supervising key internal metrics, and evaluate category market conditions/trends, supply/demand challenges and other pertinent category dynamics. You will lead cross-functional initiatives across category teams and partners with the category analysts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing useful insights that enable the category team to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities Analytics, insights and benchmarking In-depth proficiency in Cost Savings, Spend Analytics, and overall Category Scorecards to leaders. Provide oversite to team members to ensure data integrity and accessibility and partner with IT, BI, Fin, Eng, Mfg. Lead external market intelligence analysis, problem-solving, benchmarking and solution development. Evaluate data and information to determine opportunities and cost savings and deliver recommendations to support the strategic direction. Collect and use financial data for suppliers and provide guidance for interpretation. Business Partnering Drive positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members to achieve business objectives. Actively engage with procurement leadership and cross-functional business clients, working together to design and implement plans into tangible results. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor\'s degree or MBA in Business, Engineering, or Science from an accredited college/university. Proficient in O365, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent. Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Financial and/or other analytics software, SQL and VBA proficiency preferred. Procurement, Category Management, Supply Chain background preferred. Validated experience working effectively in a matrixed, global organization. You are: Highly skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and high comfort in working with numbers. Demonstrate strong communication in a structured, clear and influential way, with Stakeholders and Senior Leaders/Executives. Having a global perspective and a positive attitude that is well-suited for working across different regions. Having an interest in business sense, and data proficiency, demonstrating insights to make a data-driven decision. Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards continuous improvement to better business outcomes.
