PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Will be tasked to develop brand positioning, creative strategy including different possible insight routes, concept statements, and write presentation decks that perfectly link the consumer insights with the creative strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and refines the skill sets foundational to the brand strategy discipline; data discovery, consumer research, cultural analysis, brand strategy, brief writing, development of creative work and the evaluation of its effectiveness.
  • Shows the ability to consistently execute in the analysis, conception and execution of projects designed to deliver insights about the brand and the target.
  • Must be able to craft basic strategic thinking and to build out clear direction from research to proposition.
  • Serves as a source of data and analysis on brand and consumer issues. Must become a subject matter expert for all client categories.
  • Develops collaborative relationships within the agency and partners.
  • Shows initiative and tenacity in attacking assignments.
  • Demonstrates and fosters a collaborative work environment in which ideas flourish.
  • Previous planning experience within an agency environment preferred.
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years experience in a creative agency doing strategic planning work.
  • Adept at consumer insighting through various research methodologies \xe2\x80\x93 interviews, surveys, fgds, and social scans.
  • Is a good presenter, with excellent communication skills.
  • Can engage with clients on strategic discussions (both marketing and communications strategy).
  • Motivating and inspiring to creatives in developing and refining creative work.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and handling a variety of accounts, clients and creative teams.
  • Good inter-personal skills as he/she will be working with different departments \xe2\x80\x93 creative/accounts/data/digital.
  • B2B communications is preferred but not required
