Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

In this role, you will serve as Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Honeywell\'s Corporate Procurement organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as category manager for all 3rd party supplier procurement requirements supporting Honeywell\'s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) function
• Develop, deploy and manage global Category Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends
• Partner closely with each of the 4 (four) SBG Integrated Supply Chain organizations to ensure early sourcing engagement, alignment on key sourcing objectives and effective execution of sourcing projects
• Identify strategic partners, negotiate contracts and develop a Preferred Supplier List with competitive rate cards
• Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes
• Measure and manage supplier performance (KPI\'s); Savings, Payment Terms, Service Levels
• Consistently deliver year-over-year productivity, payment term improvements
• Deploy a regular and effective engagement model with key stakeholders that provides consistent communication and alignment
• Drive and execute the Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies; align business and Sourcing initiatives to optimize and deliver year-over-year results
• Coordinate Sourcing support for functional requirements between the Category team (CST) and the Global Sourcing and Procurement Operations team
• Apply effective Sourcing supplier risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier continuity

• 3+ years of experience Commodity Management/Procurement experience; preferrable in Indirect Sourcing
• Experience in developing Supply Base Management strategies with a proven record of delivering key business results
• Strong negotiation skills, fluent in drafting contract terms and conditions
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technology or Finance ,Master\'s Degree in Business Administration
• Demonstrate Honeywell behaviors Passion for Winning, Think Big and Make it Happen
• Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
• Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
• Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
• Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
• Independent and strategic thinker who is highly motivated with boundless energy to get stuff done
• Desire to innovate, disrupt and challenge the status quo
• Experience leveraging analytics for measurable business improvement
• Some experience in procurement
