Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and analysis of structural systems, including steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures. Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode). Conduct structural assessments, inspections, and evaluations of existing buildings or structures. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet client and company expectations. Mentor and supervise junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance and quality checks. Participate in project meetings and provide technical input during planning and construction phases. Support proposal development and provide input for bids, cost estimates, and client presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE / CEng / PrEng) license or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Revit). Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards (ACI, AISC, Eurocode, etc.). Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
