Also to support and execute strategic outsourcing, cost savings and vendor management programs to support JLL\xe2\x80\x99s SCMP commitments.OVERALL ROLEThis role reports directly to the Senior Director, commercial management , it requires a multi-disciplined subject matter expert in Indirect Procurement with in depth knowledge of Integrated Facility Management (IFM), to manage complex initiatives and integrated outsourcing programs.Responsibility also extends to procurement governance, vendor management and deliver contract / procurement strategies to achieve long term client benefits.
This role requires experience in facilities management and or procurement activity to support the Client\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of facilities in Asia Pacific. This includes working with the local dedicated SCMP teams and engagement with local IFM teams to execute vendor sourcing and savings projects through effective negotiation and competitive procurement programs.Business partner to Senior leadersProvide strategic SCMP direction across functional areas and programs that involve strategic outsourcing and vendor management across multiple IFM disciplines.Active vendor management in the form of quarterly business reviews.Lead process of developing vendor management strategy, identifying, sourcing, and securing resources based on business requirements/resultsFunctional LeadershipWorking with local dedicated SCMP team to Manage the RFP, pricing and negotiation process for the client on behalf of JLL,Provide account support in managing the Procurement Module. This includes system training, vendor performance management, and providing regular reporting to client account teams.Assist in developing and communicating the IFM and SCMP vision to the client, JLL, vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners.Supports the strategies for negotiation of major programs, projects and/or vendor activities.Operational LeadershipImplement, and operate integrated outsourcing strategies, standards and guidelines, training, costing parameters and tools/templates.Set savings targets and goals for IFM, SCMP programs, and developing metrics for tracking performance.Implementing and maintaining procurement rules and standards set by JLL and client.CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION: KEY SELECTION CRITERIAIdeal ExperienceBusiness / Commerce Degree with at least 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and negotiation.Relevant work experience in IFM with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management will be highly regarded.Management experience in integrated outsourcing and supply chain management and procurement.Practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management and capable of changing them to meet new and evolving needs will be highly regarded.Management of outsourcing relationships and the ability to accomplish results through vendor management.Execution of vendor contracts between the company and the vendor, drawing upon good contract management skills, negotiation and problem solving.Critical Competencies for SuccessFinancial ModellingCompetency in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis.Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions.Influencing SkillsExhibit exceptional relationship management and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the company-vendor relationship.Proven ability to lead by example, with strong influencing skills.Team Leadership Skills etcExperience managing multi country procurement teams.Other Personal CharacteristicsExcellent communication skills in both written and spoken English required , Mandarin language skills a definite advantageCapable of managing projects in an atmosphere of uncertainty and change.REPORTING TOSenior Director Commercial ManagementKEY STAKEHOLDERSClient management teamRegional Account teamINDIRECT SUPPORTRegional Supply Chain Management & Procurement teamLocation:On-site \xe2\x80\x93Bayan Lepas, MalaysiaJLL Privacy NoticeJLL, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
