Arup\xe2\x80\x99s purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for over 75 years, guiding how we shape a better world.This position is for a senior rail professional with around 10 years of experience in technical delivery of complex rail systems engineering and assurance projects and domain expertise in rail systems.
We are seeking a candidate with strong project delivery capabilities and all-round experience ideally covering engineering for the full lifecycle of project development, and capable of dealing with systems interfaces.
The ideal candidate has excellent technical capabilities and project management skills. Business management and business development skills are not required for this position.The Opportunity

• You will be expected to work under minimal supervision within a defined area of responsibility on design, engineering or consultancy activities.
• Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own and others work. Furthermore, you may be responsible for the development of others through providing guidance, training and feedback.
• Your work will encompass authoring submittals to clients, reports and other documentation.
• Representing your team or group at external meetings, coordinating work on projects.

Is this role right for you?

• Relevant Degree preferably in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Around 10 years of experience in railway systems
• Proven domain expertise in RAMS and Systems Assurance
• Experience working on full-lifecycle railways project for contractors, operators and/or consultants
