About the job Senior Tax (Based in JB)We are representing our client, a professional services firm offering accounting, taxation, audit, HR outsourcing, and business consulting. They focus on helping businesses manage finances, streamline HR, and ensure compliance to support growth and efficiency.
- Location: Batu Pahat, Johor
- Working hours: Mon - Fri / 9.00am to 6.00pm
- Prepare and review tax filings.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assist in client meetings to discuss compliance issues and advisory recommendations.
- Address queries and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Perform economic or financial analyses to support project deliverables.
- Stay informed on local and international regulatory changes.
- Support junior staff in completing their tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Contribute to the timely execution of projects within the assigned portfolio.
- Provide updates and maintain documentation as required by the Assistant Manager or Manager.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CTA) in progress or preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
