Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax computations and returns for individuals and corporate clients in full compliance with Malaysian tax regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN).
Manage tax payments and liaise with financial institutions as required.
Provide clients with expert advice on tax planning and optimisation to support their business goals.
Advise on tax implications related to business decisions, mergers, and acquisitions.
Keep clients informed of relevant changes in Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
Conduct research on complex tax issues and deliver effective solutions.
Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Represent clients in tax audits and negotiations with LHDN.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering responsive and professional service.
Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Mentor and support junior staff in developing their skills and knowledge.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance technical expertise and soft skills.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA is required.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant tax experience, preferably in consultancy or corporate settings.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiar with Malaysian tax software and related tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Competitive basic salary: RM5,000 - RM6,000 (Negotiable on experiences)
