We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Sales Consultant to join Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur office.

Senior Technical Sales Consultant position will drive and grow Instrumentation business of PMC/HPS. Successful candidate will drive demand generation through network of channel Partners - Distributors, System Integrators, Software solutions Providers, sales representative, OEMs as well as large project Pursuits etc. This role is responsible for driving demand generation through customer engagement (product presentation, application discussion, understanding customer needs, evaluate various options and position Honeywell products. Drive customer preference through early engagement. Drive Honeywell in customer Approved Vendor List (AVL). Drive demand for existing as well as new products. Closely work with Sales Account managers, Channel Partners, OEMs, End customers, regulatory agencies and consultants and deliver AOP.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Meeting AOP targets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for different product portfolios

\xc2\xb7 Driving demand generation through channel partners as well as direct early engagement

\xc2\xb7 Drive Honeywell brand in customer Approved Vendor List (AVL) by application discussion, product presentations, drive preference, work on lock-in specifications and dilute challenging specs

\xc2\xb7 OEM development and upselling in existing opportunities - infrastructure, F&B, Mining, metals, Sugar, Power, Heat treatment, Packaging, OEMs

\xc2\xb7 Drive local regulatory approvals in each country

\xc2\xb7 Work with technology and product management team to drive product gaps

\xc2\xb7 Drive margin improvement by customer and competition mapping

\xc2\xb7 Work with GCC, ISC and factories to drive timely revenue

\xc2\xb7 Create product awareness and drive preference by closely working with customers, presentations, value selling. Coordinate internally to meet channel as well as end customer requirements

\xc2\xb7 Driving sales for break through Initiatives (BTI), Core Growth Initiatives (CGI) and create healthy sales pipeline

\xc2\xb7 Working with HPS larger sales team to create opportunities for Instrumentation portfolio in GMP and ICSS jobs

\xc2\xb7 Working with Honeywell other businesses to drive demand

You Must Have:

\xc2\xb7 BS or BE Degree - Preferred in: Engineering, Automation, Technology or Business (or equivalent knowledge / experience in these fields)

\xc2\xb7 10+ years with at least 5 years in industrial sales/business development and/or handling large accounts.

\xc2\xb7 Proven business experience in multiple vertical markets, including Mining, Metals & Minerals, Oil & Gas production, Chemicals, F&B and/or Power industries. Networking within the instrumentation industry- large customers, OEM\'s, EPC\'s and Consultants will be a strong advantage.

\xc2\xb7 Experience planning, developing and executing sales campaigns or programs in specific markets or for specific products

\xc2\xb7 Proven technical sales skills

\xc2\xb7 Technical understanding of portfolio, competition and understanding of customer applications is must

\xc2\xb7 Extensive travel (more than 50%)

\xc2\xb7 Practical knowledge of process automation & control solutions

\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English and language in the territory
