Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee Repair and Service Work

Supervise and ensure all repair and service tasks are performed accurately according to the Repair Order.

Guide junior technicians in completing jobs efficiently and in compliance with technical standards.

Take initiative in supporting superiors on operational tasks, training, and team coordination.

2. Ensure Accurate Diagnostics and First-Time Fix

Lead accurate diagnosis of vehicle complaints to ensure issues are resolved correctly the first time.

Support troubleshooting efforts and provide technical advice to team members when needed.

3. Manage Equipment and Tool Utilization

Ensure proper maintenance and optimal use of all service equipment and tools in the workshop.

Monitor tool inventory and report any damage or loss promptly to maintain readiness.

4. Conduct Advance Troubleshooting

Capable of performing complex troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues.

Assist in diagnosing difficult cases and mentor technicians in problem-solving techniques.

5. Enforce 5S and SOP Compliance

Promote and enforce 5S practices in the workshop to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.

Ensure strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures among team members.

6. Monitor Performance Metrics

Responsible for meeting team targets in Labour Utilisation, Productivity, and Efficiency.

Track individual and team performance, and take corrective actions when necessary.

7. Undertake Ad-Hoc Duties as Assigned

Undertake any other assignments as required.

Perform additional duties assigned by superiors when necessary.

Qualifications for Senior Technician / Team Leader

1- Diploma in Automotive OR equivalent with Automotive related experience.

2- Possess 3 to 5 years supervising experience and at least two (2) years of working experience in car repair and customer service.

3- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.

4- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.

5- Excellent physical condition.

6- Fluent written and spoken in English & Bahasa Melayu.

7- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

8- Ability to interact with all levels of people to address issues arising.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
