OVERVIEW

• Ensure that the Upkeep of Utility asset & Machinery at optimum running condition and comply with 5S, safety and company's rules and regulation.
• Lead the team in completing all the utility related jobs.
• Practice the HARTALEGA Way, which encompasses SHIELD values, ESG, 5S and Operations Excellence.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs installation, breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance for all equipment under care of utility department.
• Ensure boilers, chillers and air compressor systems always operating in the optimized conditions.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or required repairs to supervisor/engineer.
• Investigate and identify solutions to utility problems.
• Identify abnormal or emergency situations and take immediate corrective actions.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required by superior.
• Required to work in shift, on call and work on mandatory overtime as per company policy.
• Performs and maintains general housekeeping of work area.
• To ensure work safety of all jobs and adhere to company's HSE policy.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned by the superior.
• To improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• To liaise with other departments/ plants for any activities related to multiple department involvement.
• To ensure all documents are done and in compliance with ISO and to keep track of all records. (Checklists, commissioning reports, etc.)
• To always look for ways to reduce breakdown time and prevent breakdown.
• To take care of all tooling and properties given to them.
• To attend all training held and customized for them.
• Assist supervisors to supervise the execution of Preventive Maintenance.
• Assist engineers and supervisors in project execution.
• Assist in foreign worker's welfare issues.
• Ready for on-call duty after working hours.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:

• Diploma/ certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Work Experience:

• Preferably 2 years' experience in mechanical/ electrical related industry.
• Experience in welding, cutting, and grinding works is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in boiler operation, chiller operation, air compressor operation and genset operation.
• Have experience in air conditioner and FCU operation.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills (English & Bahasa).
• Good attitude and meet deadlines of job.
• Responsible, punctual, and ready to commit.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Able to think logically.
• Good knowledge in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Assist engineers/ supervisors when needed.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with subordinates.
• Good troubleshooting skill.
