JR37638 Senior Technician, Global Quality Lab Operation

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Organizing and coordinating lab resources to complete product testing according to KPI and project timelines.
• Ensuring lab equipment is maintained and can support testing activities
• Executing detailed test procedures, preparing, and documenting test results, as well as review of results and collaborating with Reliability Engineers.
• Partnering closely with reliability engineers to support test development work.
• Handling and providing sample materials with cross-functional team members.
• Supervise the sample preparation team with regards to preparation of the qualification materials.
• Responsible for direct reports: coaching, employee development, performance appraisals, hiring, compensation decisions,
• Manage people and equipment resources for the following tasks performed in accordance with specifications
• Hold daily team meetings to review team tasks and project activities, make assignments, and resolve priority issues
• Foster team work to execute work request and tasks that are high quality, accurate, on time, cost effective, and conducted in a safe manner
• Collect, utilize, and share operational metrics to evaluate team performance and ensure continual improvement
• Lead and drive 6S effort, awareness, and implementing corrective actions for 6S goals.
• Review Operating Procedures and training documents to ensure proper test execution with test methods that are repeatable and reproducible.
