Summary:
Extensively assists and supports the Supplier Quality Engineers by providing expertise to resolve Quality issues within the Incoming Quality Inspection. Monitors component quality problems, escalates to supervisor as required, and helps support the investigation.

Detailed Description:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Work with supplier and material buyer/internal CFT team to reduce the materials inventory in MRB and RTV areas. * Supports and verifies the identification and processing of non-conforming materials for proper disposition

• Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues
• Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: * Ability to exercise good judgment in providing quality and functional guidance and ability to demonstrate work methods to new employee

• Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers
• Strong knowledge and understanding of quality and manufacturing standards
• Strong knowledge of computer applications and the ability to perform tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel
• Strong knowledge and understanding of shop floor control and quality management documentation systems such as Spectrum Pro, EtQ
• Skills for evaluating, gathering data, diagnosing and solving problems encountered in the manufacturing
• Apply knowledge and understanding in quality improvements techniques
• Well organized

Typical Education: * Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
