Position Title

Senior Trainer, Training & Development Management

Reports To

Manager, Training & Development Management

Role Purpose

Under the leadership of the Manager, Training and Development Management, Senior Trainer is responsible to plan, coordinate and execute the strategic training plan on regulatory, technical mandatory and development courses for Airport Services staffs and appointed ground handler to ensure service delivery is in compliance to safety and security regulations, as per defined standard operating manuals and inaccordance with defined customer experience.

Key Accountability

  • Plan, define, develop and implement training policy, processes, and procedures for Airport Services, MK Cargo Operations and Ground/Cargo Service Providers staff.
  • Identify quality training need, conduct research, review, update and enhance on courses details assigned, by incorporating the current issues, regulatory changes, airlines requirements and safety requirements.
  • Provide business and operational support and assistance to Airport Services Training team, team in-line with regulation-compliant, operational efficient and cost effective.
  • Evaluate and specify all regulatory and safety audit requirement on training matters are met and ensure all audit\'s finding item is closed accordingly.
  • Develop, organise and maintain training record database and related training documentation to track, measure, access and evaluate training performance
Qualifications & Working Experience
  • Diploma in any field of studies and 2 years of working experience in Aviation Ground/Cargo handling Industry
  • SPM/SPMV in any field of studies and 7 years of working experience in Aviation Ground/Cargo handling Industry
Skills and Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of Airport Services functions and key activities and in learning and tracking training methodology
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both oral and written
  • IT literate especially for Learning Management System and well verse in Microsoft Office application.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently with minimum supervision
Key Challengers

To Support AS Training in both providing training as well as providing administrative assistance i.e. Training Bond Management, HRDF claim etc.
