This exciting opportunity presents a permanent role based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.- Assist in the execution of the treasury strategy, focusing on cash management, liquidity planning, and basic risk analysis.
- Participate in managing banking relationships and evaluating banking services.
- Collaborate with the treasury team on various tasks, including daily cash positioning.
- Develop foundational skills in analyzing financial instruments and risk management.
- Stay informed about financial markets and economic trends, providing data summaries.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of basic treasury reports.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 3+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role in finance, with exposure to treasury or financial analysis
- Proficiencies in financial analysis, cash management, and financial reporting
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), are a plus.
